Why is my ADA credit card changing?

Your account is being automatically converted to an ADA World Elite Mastercard to expand cardholder benefits, and enhance your reward point earning opportunities.

Do I have to apply for the new ADA World Elite Mastercard if I am a current cardholder?

No, all you need to do is activate your new card on/after November 19, 2025 (it will arrive in the mail shortly before that date). Your account activity and non-redeemed rewards balances will be transferred automatically! Just be sure to set up your online account when prompted to do so.

When will I receive my new card?

Your ADA World Elite Mastercard will be mailed in mid-November. Expect it to arrive within 5-7 business days after mailing.

Will authorized users or employees on my account receive new cards also?

Yes, your new ADA credit card team has your secondary users’ information, and it will be used to issue new cards to them. They will be required to activate their new cards upon receipt.

What do I do if I haven’t received my new card by November 19, 2025?

Your ADA World Elite Mastercard should arrive before November 19, 2025, but if for some reason, you have not received it by then, please contact customer service at support@adamastercard.com, and we will be sure to get a card to you right away.

When is the last day that I will be able to use my current ADA credit card?

Your current credit card can be used through November 18, 2025. After that date, it will no longer be valid, and you will need to activate your new ADA World Elite Mastercard to continue accessing your account’s credit line.

How do I activate my new ADA World Elite Mastercard?

Once you have received your new card, you can activate it on or after November 19 by clicking on the activation button on this page. If you have any issues, please contact the new ADA credit card team at support@adamastercard.com.

Is there an annual fee or foreign transaction fee for this card?

As with your current credit card, there is no annual fee or foreign transaction fee to use your new ADA World Elite Mastercard.

Can I start using my ADA World Elite Mastercard immediately after activation?

Yes, you can use your new card on/after November 19, 2025 once you activate it.

Will my credit limit or APR change after switching to my World Elite Mastercard?

Your credit limit and APR will remain the same unless notified otherwise. Changes, if any, will be communicated via mail or email.

Is my card number changing?

Yes, since your card is moving from Visa to Mastercard, it will have a new 16-digit account number, expiration date, and 3-digit security code. Be sure to cut up/throw away your old card on November 19, 2025

Will my billing cycle change when I switch to the ADA World Elite Mastercard?

Depending on what cycle you are in today, your billing cycle may change. Your new account will cycle on the first of each month, with a due date on the 21st of each month.

Will the reward points I have earned but not redeemed still be available on the new card, or will I lose them?

Unredeemed rewards will automatically transfer to your new account. Any future rewards earned on your new card will be added to your transferred rewards, and increase your total reward balance. You can log into adamastercard.com to check on transferred balances, and also see any recently earned rewards.

How will the transfer to an ADA World Elite Mastercard affect my credit history?

Transferring from your current card to the ADA World Elite Mastercard will not affect your credit history. As part of the upgrade process, the new ADA credit card team will bridge the tradelines so your credit history remains intact.

Contact customer service immediately at support@adamastercard.com to report security or fraud issues.
